This is an extremely rare honey, as crops are not obtained every year. Produced from the indigenous Boekenhout tree (Faurea Saligna) in the Bushveld, Limpopo and KwaZulu-Natal. This honey is viscous, reddish brown and slow granulating with a musty aroma. It has a strong malty flavour.
